Who we are

Mt. Eden Floral Co. has been a part of the Bay Area community for over 100 years. Founded in 1906 by Japanese immigrant Zenjuro Shibata, Mt. Eden began as a small nursery in the East Bay. The company has grown over the years, shifting its offerings as the floral industry has developed in order to continue meeting the needs of businesses in the region.

Flowers are the foundation for any stunning display or event. With our background as a grower, it’s important to us that we provide you with professional quality stems that you can rely on to ensure that your creations stay fresh longer to acheive a maximum impact. Today, Mt. Eden’s flowers and greens are sourced domestically and abroad in order to provide customers with a wide variety of choices throughout the year. In addition to cut flowers, Mt. Eden carries potted plants and seasonal items including: blooming plants, succulents, bromeliads, leis, premium poinsettia plants, and Christmas greens, including wreaths and garlands. New items arrive on a regular basis at the San Jose store. Our supply inventory boasts thousands of items including: wholesale vases, containers, silk flowers, florist supplies, packaging supplies, ribbon, bulk candles, candelabras, wedding and event decorations, Christmas décor and many other novelties for all seasons. Additional items are available via special order, so if you don’t see what you’re looking for, just ask!

Our sales team is available to help with special orders throughout the year including: event orders, standing orders, and pre-booking product for holidays such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.
Your time is valuable

That’s why Mt. Eden Floral’s main wholesale flower and floral supply store is conveniently located in North San Jose near highways 880, 101, and 87. A second location at 660 Brannan Street in the historic San Francisco Flower Market, gives SF customers the convenience of picking up supplies during their morning flower market run. For customers in So Cal, our partner, GM Floral, is based in the Los Angeles Flower District at the Southern California Flower Market.
Delivery Available

We know not everyone can make it to the store. No worries! Mt. Eden Floral Co. delievers throughout Northern California via our own fleet of trucks.
